The artist MARCO VENTURA was born in Milan, Italy in 1963 and comes from an artistic family. He studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti of Brera in Milan and later at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Since 1988 he has been working as a freelance illustrator for many advertising companies and international publishers and magazines. He has received several awards, including two silver medals from the American Society of Illustrators, feature articles on his work have been published on Novum, 3x3 and Communication Arts. He designed and illustrated stamps for the British Royal Mail, the Vatican State and the Republic of San Marino.
Ventura lives in Milan, Italy with his wife and their three children. In 2015 one of his portraits was exhibited at The National Portrait Gallery in London.
